{ New Blog Design} COMING SOON!

Okay- So I have been a graphic designer for around 6 years now. I just cannot seem to create the perfect blog design for my own company! Why is that? I can create things for other people sooo easily that look great for their businesses, but not my own? Well.. this weekend is dedicated to a brand new blog facelift! :) Any ideas? :)

Who is Mimi?

I am Mimi, well that is my nickname. Given to me by my younger sister could not pronounce my name when we were little, so she called me "Mimi". Marie is my middle name and also my mothers middle name and also my oldest daughters middle name.

Although people do not actually call me Mimi, I loved it for my business name. My real name is Mindy Freed, I am the owner of Mimi Marie Photography. Now that we have that cleared up, here is a little bit about myself.

I majored in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Seattle, I am a former preschool teacher, I am a mother of three beautiful children, and a professional photographer.

I started my photography journey in 2011 after I purchased my first DSLR camera to capture the high speed moments of my two daughters. I started taking photos for my preschool students families and the business grew from there. I love what I do and I love being a part of my client's photo memories each year. Recently I have added more photography services to my resume aside from family photography. I started Real Estate and head shot photography which I also am enjoying.
